Water Color Painting
It is possible to visualize and depict things you remember or imagine in a different way. Moreover, you can do this during small workshops that won’t require you to dedicate several hours of your busy schedule every week, but rather just a few hours after work, adding creativity to your daily routine.
Why watercolor?
The reason for choosing watercolor as the material in these workshops is to benefit from its transparency and fluidity. By using watercolor in this way, we can direct and color our creative impulses in different directions. Watercolor, although technically different from other techniques, is both enjoyable to work with and produces satisfying results even at an early stage. Don’t say you can’t even draw a stick figure. Remember that what we seek is not talent, but desire, imagination, and enjoyment.
What is included in the workshop content?
First and foremost, during the workshops, we understand the logic of how illustrations should be made. Then, we get to know the brushes, paint, colors, and other materials, learn how to use them effectively. Mixing colors with geometric forms and grasping the concept of toning, and obtaining light and dark shades are all part of the process.
What can we paint?
Producing minimalist illustrations of artworks like Frida and Girl with a Pearl Earring or creating free and intuitive creations using the basic knowledge of watercolor are among the options we offer.
How often and when are the workshops held?
Our watercolor workshop is held once a month. You can check our Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter accounts to learn the day and time of the workshop.
What age group is it suitable for?
Our watercolor workshop is suitable for all young people and adults aged 15 and above. For the age group,12-15, we can create personalized workshops for you if you get together to for a group of minimum 4 participants. In this case, you may choose the day and time of your workshop, upon request.,
Who will be our instructor?
Çiğdem Durukan is the instructor for daily minimalist water color workshops and Elçin Kurbanoğlu is the translator.
Acrylic on Wood
If you want to get acquainted with acrylic materials and also return home with your own product, this workshop will be very enjoyable for you.
What kind of wooden products can we create?
With acrylic paint, you can create various products such as coasters, wall decorations, pendulums, jewelry boxes, or multi-purpose boxes.
How long does the acrylic workshop last?
The duration of the workshop can vary between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the product you choose to paint.
What can we draw and paint?
You can either draw your own design or focus on painting by copying a chosen design using carbon paper. Depending on your skill level, the instructor will provide recommendations before the workshop regarding the choice of painting.
What age group is suitable for this activity?
It is suitable for participants aged 12 and above. Separate workshops are organized for teenage groups and adult groups.

Stone Painting
In this workshop, both the choice of the stone to be used and the drawing to be made are based on the participant’s preferences and imagination, making it a highly active and creative process.
What does the workshop content include?
In the stone painting workshop, first, the materials and techniques to be used are introduced. Participants work together with the instructor on their designed drawings to create decorative, aesthetic, and unique artworks.
Who provides the materials?
The materials used throughout the workshop are provided by Gezegen Sanatevi; however, participants are expected to find and bring the stone they want to paint before the event.
