What is Dream and Write? What are its objectives?
Gezegen Sanatevi aims to encourage our children to imagine, think creatively, actively listen/read, and write freely through a two-month event called “Düşle Yaz” (Dream and Write). The goal of our workshop is to advance children’s listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills.
Which age groups is it suitable for?
It is suitable for two age groups: 5-7 and 8-10.
What constitutes the content of the training?
We include various activities to enhance students’ ability to express themselves. Some of these activities include: re-writing the conclusion of a story or fairy tale after reading only the introduction and development, asking the kids to narrate a fairy tale, poem, or story with illustrations, turning their memories into stories, creating a narrative with randomly selected words, developing empathy by taking the place of a character in the text, and narrating a story related to the dreams or thoughts that come to their mind while listening to music…
